About
I started boxing at the age of 14 as a way to stay fit during the rare periods I was home from another sport. At the time, I was representing Team GB, a journey with them that spanned 10 years and saw me compete around the world, including at two Youth Olympic Games and four World Junior Championships. The dedication, discipline and resilience that elite sport demanded gave me a strong foundation, making the transition into boxing feel natural. Whilst I loved boxing from the very beginning, I could never fully commit to it because the other sport was my priority. My focus was always on representing Great Britain and pursuing my dream. Everything changed when I suffered a tear in my ACL. I spent 15 months in France rehabilitating, determined to give myself every chance of returning. Unfortunately, that dream came to an end, but it also opened the door to another. I committed everything to boxing. I brought with me years of experience competing under pressure on the world stage, physical attributes, an elite athlete's mindset, and an understanding of what it takes to perform when it matters most. Every lesson I've learnt through both victory and adversity has become another tool in my toolbox as I pursue my new goals. I don't box because I have to, I box because I love it. I love the discipline, the respect, the thrill of competition and the challenge of standing opposite someone who's trying to beat you. I love the scrap, the intensity, and the feeling of giving twice as hard as I get. Through every victory, setback and challenge, I do it all with God by my side, trusting His plan is greater than my own. My ambition is to reach the highest level of boxing and earn the opportunity to represent Great Britain for a second time, this time in a completely different sport. After this, to hold the world titles as a professional. More importantly, I want to inspire the next generation to realise that setbacks don't have to define you. Dreams can change, but the determination to chase them never has to. If my journey proves anything, it's that with resilience, hard work and belief, almost anything is possible.
