About
I started Muay Thai when I was 11. I was out with my mum, we came across a Muay Thai gym, I went in, spoke to the guys, started training, and fell in love with it. I did Muay Thai until I was 20 and became Scottish champion as well. I then had a 5-year break due to shoulder injuries — I needed two operations; the first wasn’t successful but the second was. When I was fully healed at 25, I decided boxing was better suited for me and I switched. I started my amateur boxing career at 27 and won the Scottish Development Championships. I’m going to stay amateur for another year, test myself against more top-level amateurs, then go professional. I’m currently training with top-level professional boxers every day and I’m hoping to go as far as possible with the sport.
