I started boxing because I had too much anger inside and nowhere to put it. Because I worked, came home tired, and saw easy paths around me that I didn’t want to take. In the gym, no one saves you. You either endure, or you break. In the ring, you can’t lie: if you’re not ready, you pay for it. I’ve lost more than I’ve won. But every loss taught me not to stop. To come back the next day, even broken. Boxing pulled bad choices out of my head. It gave me discipline, silence, and respect. I started boxing so I wouldn’t lose myself. I continue because quitting would mean truly losing.
