I started fighting because no other sports worked. Team sports were boring and there was no addiction and drive from myself. I asked my mum over and over to start boxing but she wouldn’t let me so at the age of 11 I set a phone up and hung a punching bag from my bunk bed with a karate belt and taught myself how to fight in my bedroom. I got to 13 and my mum let me do my first ever 1-1 session in a local commercial gym, since that day I’ve never looked back and fell in love with the sport. I’ve been to 4 different boxing clubs and now I’m settled at Brighton boxing academy. I’m driven and determined to win titles and take over the amateur scene and then make the move over to the pros and take over there.
