I was born for battle—for all the struggle my family’s been through. I’m my family’s curse breaker. Since I was a child, people didn’t know what I’d been through. I could say it, but I don’t need to—when I come through, you can see it in my smile and in my walk. I’m tired of talking. My mom has cried, my brother has shed tears, and the little ones count on me. Fear walks with me, but it doesn’t own me. I’ll reap what is sowed, because God shows me the truth. I carry that truth.
