I am a 1× London Champion and 1× Capitol Cup Champion. I grew up with bad anger issues after watching my parents fight and split up. I had nowhere to channel the energy, so I started kickboxing at 5 Elements Martial Arts on my 13th birthday after having enough fights and causing too much trouble at school. I was in a hostile environment—bullying and abuse were normal there. Once I stepped in the gym, it became very addictive; I finally had a place to release and started finding myself. All sorts of mental battles, family problems, and trauma were leading me down a path I couldn’t go down, and with boxing always being there, I chose that path instead. Best choice I’ve ever made.
